How to Purchase

Overview

We work with everyone from start-ups to billion dollar enterprises. So regardless of your size, we can probably find a convenient and affordable way to purchase our services and products. Please note AISC only accepts engagements on a business to business (B2B) basis. We will not consider engagements using Contract W-2, Independent Contractor/1099, or equity.

Contract Vehicles

Retainer

The retainer is the simplest and fastest method to get access to our services. It does not require a Statement of Work (SOW) and has a maximum level of effort every month (8-16 hours) for any length of time you may desire. It can be used for services like alternative analysis, intelligence, forensics, general consultations, and possibly some types of analytical simulation. We will provide a 20% discount for our labor charges.

Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)

The IDIQ vehicle is our preferred approach for open ended projects with periods of performance no less than six months. We typically accept a purchase order (PO) with not-to-exceed (NTE) amounts for labor, travel, materials, etc. We will work with you to tailor a SOW that will accompany the PO. Our SOWs can be very specific or broad to accommodate a wide range of situations. You will issue tasks as needed and we will invoice you every two weeks or on agreed upon milestones. Unlike retainers, the IDIQ vehicle is subject to availability of resources.

Firm Fixed

The firm fixed vehicle is used for well defined projects such our packaged offers. For these projects, we will work with you to develop project requirements and subsequently a proposal (with schedule) and quote. We will execute the project and invoice you on agreed upon milestones.
